I love finding unique accessories and sharing my plus-size fashion pieces, that's why I started @tev_shop on Instagram!

At this point in my life, I probably wouldn't have a decent wardrobe had it not been for my smartphone. I shop on the bus during the morning commute, I scroll through apps while cooking dinner, and click "Checkout" before returning my phone to its charger at the end of the day. So my curiosity was piqued months ago when I found the Instagram handle @shopvintagebowtique, which is an insta-boutique with the most eclectic and bountiful selection of vintage items in one place. They have over 18,000 followers, and have the business of selling on the 'gram down to a science. I love this concept so much that I want to try it for myself!

One of my favorite things to do is hunt for consignment and thrift stores. When we're together, my mother and I bond over estate sales and consignment boutiques. The thrill of a good find, some unique accessory or embarrassingly under-priced designer item gives me a rush. Over the years, I have given away many pieces, others sit in storage boxes, while others linger in my closet, barely being used. All of these items need and deserve a new owner with lots of style.

What I have also noticed is that there is a significant lack of vintage and resell fashions for plus-size women. This is likely due to the lack of options for plus women in the fashion industry. We are now experiencing a boom in this area, which is great. Nonetheless, I have so many beautiful clothes that have seen little to no action and also deserve a new home.
